Job Title: Business Development Manager – Motorsport & Commercial (UK/Germany)

Location: Hybrid – Immico (West Hertfordshire) with frequent travel

Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 base + commission (OTE £110,000+) + benefits

Contract: Full-time, permanent


About Us

Immico is a UK manufacturer of precision-engineered welded exhaust insulation and thermal systems for motorsport, commercial, and specialist vehicle applications. Our solutions help customers achieve exceptional heat reduction, performance gains, and compliance with stringent emissions regulations.

We’re now seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager to expand our high end motorsport teams, secure long term OEM programs, and grow our presence in UK and German markets.


The Role

Reporting directly to the MD, you will take ownership of sales strategy and execution across high performance motorsport teams, OEMs, and specialist vehicle manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and execute account strategies for F1, FE, WEC, WRC, GT teams, performance OEMs, and specialist vehicle OEMs.
* Build and run an Account-Based Marketing plan: target lists, outreach campaigns, and event calendars (AGRITECHNICA, CTS, PMW Expo, Autosport).
* Manage opportunities from RFQ through to PPAP/SOP, working closely with engineering and production.
* Build and maintain a sales pipeline in CRM, price to gross margin targets, and negotiate MSAs/NDAs, payment terms, and tooling/NRE recovery.
* Identify customer thermal challenges, support trials, and capture case studies for marketing.
* Create a repeatable proposal toolkit (drawings, tolerances, materials, test data).


About You

* 5–10 years of new business sales experience in engineered components/systems for motorsport and/or OEM customers.
* Confident understanding of drawings, tolerances, and materials (stainless foils, needlemats, pressings, laser profiles).
* Working knowledge of APQP/PPAP/ISO 9001 and OEM supplier onboarding processes.
* Proven success managing long, complex sales cycles and engaging multiple stakeholders.
* German language skills are a plus.
* Willingness to travel extensively in the UK/EU.
