Field Service Engineer
Location: Southampton surrounding
Salary: £32,680 - £38,300 + OT £54,100
Type: Full‑time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine servicing and maintenance on diesel generators (customer-owned and rental fleet)
* Diagnose and repair faults efficiently
* Conduct site surveys to assess service and maintenance needs
* Participate in on‑call rota as required
* Maintain safe, tidy workspaces and comply with Health & Safety standards
* Follow ISO standards (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, 50001) and support continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
* Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Diesel Fitting qualification (City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ, or apprenticeship)
* Proven experience servicing generator sets (FG Wilson, Cummins, or similar)
* Strong fault‑finding and communication skills
* Field service experience (advantageous)
* Full UK driving licence
* ECS/CSCS/CCNSG card preferred but not essential (training provided if required)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
