Independent Committee Member – Investment Committee
North East England | Non-Executive Appointment
Remuneration: circa £2,700 per annum
A large and forward-thinking organisation with a substantial property portfolio and ambitious long-term investment strategy is seeking to appoint an Independent Member to its Investment Committee.
This is a strategically important opportunity to help shape investment, regeneration and development decisions across a major regional organisation delivering homes and services to more than 60,000 customers throughout the North East.
Over the next five years, the organisation will deliver a significant investment programme focused on existing homes, new housing delivery, regeneration, sustainability and community impact, including the delivery of up to 1,000 new homes.
We are particularly interested in individuals with senior-level experience in:
️ Asset management
️ New build development and construction
️ Property investment and maintenance
️ Regeneration and sustainability
️ Strategic investment decision-making
️ Health & safety and property compliance
You will bring strong commercial judgement, an understanding of risk and value for money, and the ability to constructively challenge and support executive leaders on major investment decisions.
The successful candidate will contribute to long-term planning around asset sustainability, environmental performance and future investment priorities while helping ensure the organisation continues to deliver safe, high-quality homes and services.
This role would suit a commercially aware senior leader, property professional or technical specialist seeking a meaningful non-executive opportunity with visible regional impact.
