CNC Operator Location: Corby Type: Full-Time | Permanent Shifts: Rotating weekly * Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm * Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Salary: £13.50 - £14 per hour The Opportunity We are a well-established manufacturing company seeking a CNC Operator to join our team in Corby. This is a hands-on role focused on operating, setting, and programming CNC machines. You will play a key part in producing high-quality components in a clean and well-organized workshop. If you enjoy practical, machine-based work and have experience with CNC operations, this could be the perfect role for you. Key Responsibilities * Operate and set up 3 & 4 axis CNC machines using proprietary software. * Program and run a 3 axis VMC using G-code. * Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate production. * Perform quality checks to maintain high standards. * Carry out routine machine maintenance and assist in keeping the workshop clean and organized. * Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets. What We’re Looking For * Experience in CNC machine operation (any background considered). * Confidence in reading engineering drawings. * Strong attention to detail and a hands-on, practical approach. * Flexible and willing to work across different machines and tasks.
