We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while supporting organisational change. You’ll handle a mix of operational and strategic HR work — from managing attendance and performance issues to advising on complex employee relations matters and supporting organisational redesign.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day HR activities, ensuring smooth operation across attendance, performance, and conduct matters.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on complex employee relations issues, including ill-health retirements and sensitive casework.
* Represent HR in meetings with senior stakeholders and trade union representatives, ensuring consistent application of policy.
* Support the design and delivery of organisational change initiatives, contributing to restructuring and workforce planning projects.
* Coach and influence managers to build capability and promote best practice in people management.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law, HR policy, and public sector frameworks.
