My client is a leading B&I contract caterer and they are looking for a Events Sales Manager to join their team at one of their flagship contracts in the City of London.
For this Events Sales Manager role, I am looking for a candidate who possesses the:
* Experience of venue sales, negotiation and identification of upselling opportunities
* Understanding of financial planning and setting realistic and ambitious targets
* Background of planning and coordinating a variety of events including conferences, meetings, receptions and dinners
* Knowledge of managing a venue bookings diary and client database
* Ability to simultaneously manage multiple events and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Experience of conducting site visits of the event spaces
* Ability to guide clients through the planning process, and ensure that all documentation is ready to handover to event operations and the facilities team in good time
