About the Role
The successful candidate will have previous permanent way experience in maintenance and repair with a positive attitude to work and the ability to use own initiative. They will also have the ability to plan work, and operate in a changing environment, reacting effectively to changing demands.
The key responsibilities of the role are set out in the role description and include:
1. Perform a range of duties as instructed relating to the care, repair and maintenance of the Permanent Way, Tunnels and Stations.
2. Undertake tunnel and track surveys and inspections.
3. Participate and assist the Infrastructure Technicians in the planning, organisation and implementation of permanent way works.
Full Time hours will be an average 38 hours a week working any 9 days out of 14 shift pattern.
