Key Responsibilities
* Perform detailed inspections of materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
* Use a variety of measurement tools and techniques to carry out dimensional, visual, and functional inspections.
* Work closely with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues during the manufacturing process.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100 and other relevant certifications.
* Review engineering drawings and product specifications to ensure correct interpretation of requirements.
* Develop and maintain quality documentation, reports, and certificates.
* Assist with the development and implementation of quality management systems (QMS) and improvements in quality control processes.
* Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve non-conformities.
* Provide guidance on quality improvement initiatives and industry best practices to team members.
* Monitor key quality metrics and suggest areas for continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quality Engineer / Inspector in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS), including ISO 9001, AS9100, and other relevant standards.
* Experience with inspection tools, measurement techniques, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods is highly desirable.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proactive approach with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
