Job Description:
As a Civil NEC Site Supervisor, you will join a world-leading engineering consultancy delivering major highways projects in Northern Ireland.
Your responsibilities include providing technical and quality support during the on-site phase of major works. Key duties include:
* Coordinating construction interface activities and attending planning and construction meetings.
* Reviewing construction methods, proposals, and risk assessments.
* Conducting site visits to inspect and ensure compliance with contract requirements concerning quality, safety, and environmental standards.
* Supervising construction works and acting as NEC4 Contract Site Supervisor.
* Liaising with stakeholders, utility operators, and design teams.
* Preparing progress and quality reports, highlighting schedule, quality, cost, H&S issues, risks, and impacts.
* Escalating issues and risks to the Project/Contract Manager, including change impacts and evaluating compensation events.
Candidate Requirements:
* Construction-related qualification and experience in civil engineering projects.
* On-site experience in civil engineering/construction, including roads/highways, with knowledge of construction safety management.
* Strong planning and organizational skills for complex activities.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook for report compilation and presentation.
* Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively within a team.
