About the role
Welcome to the Core Prescription Items team – an exciting team at the heart of the wider Healthcare Business Unit. As customers are changing, so are we We're focusing on really understanding our customers' needs and making the most of our prescriptions offer and services to maximise both the instore and online experience to drive growth.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and talented individual to join our team as a Core Prescriptions Items Lead on a full-time secondment basis to support the development of compelling value propositions that meets the needs of our customers.

Key responsibilities
* The role is pivotal in supporting the team with the delivery of various workstreams across core prescription items. The role will work closely alongside the proposition and performance managers delivering the FY26 plan in place e.g. Pharmacy Growth, Surgery Relationships, Growth and Retention etc.
* You will be analysing and understanding internal business performance alongside market trends, to understand customer behaviours/needs and work collaboratively as part of a team within the business unit to create and deliver plans to grow the business and reduce attrition by meeting customer expectations
* Support with performance tracking to feedback to relevant stakeholders on the progress of the core prescription items workstreams
* You will be building key and long-term relationships with a whole range of stakeholders inside and outside of the business including the NHS Contracts team, Pharmacy Operations, Finance, Properties and Marketing functions just to name a few, so the ability to partner and work collaboratively is essential for this role. You will also be expected to hold relationships and reflect the brand to a high standard.
What you'll need to have
* We're looking for someone with high motivation, resilience, adaptability and unfazed by change in an agile environment
* Be able to translate plans in to actionable plans
* Have experience of setting up and supporting specific projects, initiatives and workstreams – alongside solving problems
* Ability to build relationships quickly and engage with a wide range of colleagues across the business as well as lead a team to deliver work to a high standard and at pace
* Effective communication skills allowing you to influence stakeholders across the business and at different levels
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office 365
