We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our team as the Head of Human Resources at the site in Jarrow.

Role
As the HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our organisation’s success. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that support our business objectives, foster a positive workplace culture, and enhance the employee experience. You will be a key partner in attracting, retaining, and developing top talent.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programmes to meet organisational goals.
* Oversee all aspects of talent acquisition, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
* Manage employee relations, ensuring a positive and respectful work environment.
* Lead performance management and talent development initiatives.
* Administer compensation and benefits programmes.
* Drive diversity and inclusion efforts.
* Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
* Develop and maintain HR metrics to drive data‑based decision‑making.
The Candidate
* Minimum CIPD Level 5
* At least 5 years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of HR best practices, laws, and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing HR teams.
* Strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
