The Role
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or Fee Earner to join a forward-thinking and client-focused firm. The role involves managing your own caseload from instruction to completion, providing high-quality legal advice and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise clients on purchases, sales, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
* Manage ID requirements, funds checks, gift deposits, and risk assess.
* Prepare and issue contracts and manage mortgage redemptions.
* Handle exchange and completion of contracts.
* Order/report searches and titles, leases, and raise relevant enquiries.
* Review and report on mortgages and management packs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referrers.
Requirements:
* Proven experience with full responsibility for your own caseload.
* Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to manage pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to delivering client service.
* Legally qualified (Solicitor, CILEX, or Licensed Conveyancer).
