Security Officer Location: Diageo Shieldhall, Glasgow Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotation, 42 hours per week Salary: £13.10 per hour Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Security Officer to join our team at Diageo Shieldhall in Glasgow. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our people, assets and clients by delivering a high standard of service on site. What you’ll do: Ensure the security and safety of the site through regular patrols and monitoring Carry out access control, identification checks and vehicle checks Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records Operate security systems including CCTV and control room equipment Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors and contractors What you bring: A current and valid Security Guard SIA licence First Aid qualification Previous experience in a security role Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with people Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Basic PC literacy and willingness to learn site-specific systems Full UK driving licence Must be 18 or over due to licencing requirements Site-specific benefits include: Free on-site parking Employee discount scheme What We Offer Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
