Local authority in Northamptonshire are looking for a senior compliance officer to join their commercial property team for an initial period of three months.
Purpose of the role: To lead and manage the compliance and assurance function across the Council’s corporate and commercial estate portfolio, ensuring that all buildings are safe, legally compliant, and strategically managed. This role safeguards the organisation against breaches of its statutory and regulatory duties, reputation and ensures that risks are identified, mitigated, and escalated appropriately.The post holder will provide senior-level assurance, expert technical professional advice, and robust reporting to executive management, elected members, and external regulators, driving high standards of compliance, governance, and value for money
Initially 3 months but likely to be ongoing work
Day rate negotiable - Inside IR35
Hybrid working 2 office - 3 remote
