The Bodleian Libraries is seeking an Open Access and Repository Assistant to join the Open Access Collections Team, working to facilitate access to University of Oxford research while supporting the maintenance and development of the Oxford University Research Archive (ORA). This is an open‑ended post working 36.5 hours per week, offering work‑from‑home 2‑3 days per week.
Responsibilities
• Review material deposited by Oxford academics and make it available through the ORA website.
• Ensure deposits comply with copyright and other regulations affecting dissemination of the work.
• Support the ORA helpdesk and assist authors with depositing their work and understanding responsibilities with regards to policies affecting research publications.
• Enhance metadata for deposited material and facilitate access to full‑text files to maximise interaction and engagement with the research content.
Qualifications
• Computer literate and experienced working with a database or structured records.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
