Applicants must be readily available to start in September. The role is working across small KS4 classes and will be full time on a long term basis with the possibility to become permanent. Pupils at this school will have various needs including SEMH, Behavioural and Autism. Responsibilities and Duties: Be actively involved in daily routines of classes, groups or individual learners Deliver, monitor and record pupil educational programmes, both inside and outside of the classroom Support the class teacher in tailoring lesson planning to deliver to the pupil Prepare materials and resources for lessons Assist in creating a stimulating learning environment for all learners Provide a high standard of physical and emotional care Attend staff meetings when required Support the transition of learners into school environment The successful Teaching Assistant will: Be patient in dealing with children with learning difficulties, poor language skills and challenging behaviour patterns Demonstrate initiative Ability to work co-operatively with all teaching staff and LSA’s Liaise with medical staff to meet the needs of the pupils Have previous experience working with KS4 and KS5 children Demonstrate excellent communication skills Why Winne...
