Salary: £27,500

What We Do: Our Registry department supports every stage of the student journey, managing records, enrolment, assessments, and graduation to ensure a smooth, accurate and high-quality experience for all our students.

The Role: As an Academic Service Administrator, you will play a vital role in shaping the student experience by delivering exceptional administrative support and ensuring smooth academic operations. You will act as the vital link between faculty, students and institutional success. Responsibilities

* Processing student withdrawals, interruptions of studies, cancellations, etc within the agreed time scales to ensure departmental KPIs are met.
* Update the Student Record System daily, ensuring accuracy of the data entered.
* Support enrolment activities for all partners.
* Assist with administration for the preparation of Assessment Boards.
* Deal with queries by telephone, letter, e‑mail and face‑to‑face from academic and professional services colleagues and students in relation to all areas of Academic Services.
* Input board outcomes onto the Student Records System.


Qualifications

* Higher Education experience.
* Customer/student focused approach.
* Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook Mail.
* Excellent communication skills both via email and telephone and confidence in dealing with all levels of staff.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
* Willingness to work additional hours at peak periods as necessary to meet deadlines and a willingness to accept travel between university sites and occasional off‑site travel.
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information within the requirements of GDPR.
* At peak periods, may be required to work flexibly as necessary and to travel between GBS sites as required.

* Ability to use initiative and judgement to resolve matters.
