Salary: £95-£120 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)

Secondary schools across Wellingborough are seeking enthusiastic, confident, and reliable individuals to join their teams as Unqualified Teachers from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced Cover Supervisors looking to step into a more active classroom leadership role.
About the Role:
As an Unqualified Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering lessons in the absence of a qualified teacher. You will work with Key Stage 3 and 4 students across a range of subjects (or in a preferred subject area, where possible), ensuring pupils remain engaged, on task, and supported in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver pre-set lesson plans to whole classes across KS3-KS4
2. Maintain classroom discipline and manage behaviour effectively
3. Encourage student participation and support their progress
4. Work closely with subject departments and senior leadership teams
5. Provide feedback on student engagement and classroom activity
6. Uphold school policies around safeguarding, equality, and inclusion
We're Looking for Someone Who:
7. Has experience working with young people in a school or youth setting
8. Is confident leading a classroom and managing student behaviour
9. Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to supporting learning
10. Has strong communication skills and a professional approach
11. Is eager to gain further experience in education and/or pursue a route into teaching
12. Holds a degree or relevant experience (ideal but not essential)
13. Has a DBS on the update service or is willing to apply for one
