SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT
Hours: 5 Hours per week – Term Time Only
Grade: Grade 2 - £24,796 x 11.87% (Pro rata for working term time only)
Start date: Required as soon as possible
The Governing Body wish to appoint a Supervisory Assistant to work in this happy and successful school and complement our existing team.
The successful candidate will:
•Be comfortable with children, and be able to deal with them on a daily basis.
•Have patience and empathy in dealing with children.
•Have excellent people skills.
•A willingness to work hard.
Duties will include:
•Supervising children in the Dining Hall, in the playground and, when it is raining, in the classroom.
•Promoting positive behaviour and encourage good manners. (in line with the school’s behaviour policy).
•Following the School Safeguarding policy and procedures.
•Ensuring the safety and well-being of all pupils.
•Supporting children in developing social skills and playing cooperatively.
