Dynamics AX Architect –
6-Month Contract | Kingston, London| Competitive Day Rate
A leading organisation undergoing a major transformation of its core business systems is looking for an experienced Dynamics AX Architect to support the decommissioning of its existing AX environment and the transition to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
The Role
You will take a lead position in shaping the technical approach, overseeing the decommissioning strategy, and ensuring a smooth, well-structured transition from AX to D365 F&O. This is a hands-on architectural role that involves working closely with internal teams, business stakeholders and external partners to ensure continuity and minimal disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the decommissioning of the current Dynamics AX platform
2. Architect end-to-end solutions aligned with the migration to D365 F&O
3. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable designs
4. Oversee data extraction, mapping, migration planning and validation
5. Assess integration points, dependencies and customisations across AX
6. Provide technical governance across all migration workstreams
