We are a supporting a growing SME, known for their quality of products, innovation, and strong customer relationships. As they continue to scale, they are looking for a proactive Finance Manager to oversee the finance team and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all daily finance operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation
* Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cashflow forecasts
* Lead budgeting and financial planning processes
* Manage year-end audit processes and liaise with external accountants
* Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including VAT, HMRC filings, and financial regulations
* Improve financial controls, processes, and systems as the business grows
* Support commercial decision-making with analysis and recommendations
The Ideal Candidate
* Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent experience
* Strong experience in a management accountant role, ideally within an SME
* Excellent understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cashflow management
* Confident using accounting software
