FLT Counterbalance Driver – Sheffield (Driving Licence Required)
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Shifts • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 15:30 • Friday: 07:30 – 14:30
Rates of Pay • £12.50 -£13.50 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties • Operating a Counterbalance Truck safely and efficiently • Conducting pre-use inspections and reporting any defects to management • Receiving and unpacking goods into the warehouse • Stowing pallets and organising stock for deliveries • Moving goods around the warehouse as required • Checking the quantity and quality (visual) of incoming and outgoing goods • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Skills • Valid Counterbalance Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited) • Valid UK Driving Licence (required for site access and duties) • Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Truck • Good communication and teamwork skills • Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail • Reliable, self-motivated, and organised • Flexible approach to additional warehouse tasks
Desirable Experience • Previous experience working within a busy warehouse environment
Training Provided • Full on-site training provided with ongoing support throughout your assignment
