Our client is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Specialist to support customs operations and regulatory compliance across UK and EU markets. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely completion of trade compliance reports and KPIs Classify goods correctly using appropriate tariff codes Complete and monitor import, export, transit, ICS and ENS declarations Provide UK import guidance and liaise with HMRC Manage CITES permits, applications, notifications and trackers Audit customs entries to ensure compliance with UK/EU regulations Maintain accurate records, trackers, SharePoint documentation and invoicing Support internal projects and improve operational efficiencies Build strong relationships across departments and external partners Skills & Experience: 35 years experience in customs or trade compliance (corporate or brokerage environment) Strong knowledge of UK & EU customs regulations and documentation Experience with CITES permits (desirable) Solid understanding of commodity codes, duties, valuation and Incoterms Confident communicator with strong organisational skills Intermediate Excel skills Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Flexible approach, with occasional weekend work as required This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented compliance professional looking to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.
