Technical Parts Coordinator
Purpose
Provide technical and parts support to engineers and customers by identifying, sourcing, and supplying correct gas and heating components. Deliver remote technical assistance to resolve faults efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, source, and order correct boiler and heating parts.
Support engineers/customers with remote fault diagnosis and technical guidance.
Maintain stock accuracy, manage returns, and ensure availability of critical parts.
Liaise with suppliers for pricing, delivery, and performance issues.
Ensure compliance with Gas Safe, health & safety, and manufacturer standards.

First-time fix rate
Accuracy of parts identification and orders
Technical resolution time
Stock accuracy and satisfaction levels
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Background in gas/heating (Parts Advisor, Gas Engineer, or Technical Support)
Strong technical and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and customer service
Proficient with ERP/CRM and Microsoft Office
Desirable:
Gas Safe registration (current or expired)
Manufacturer training (e.g., Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Baxi)
Experience with remote diagnostic tools
Office or hybrid role with regular contact with engineers/customers. Standard hours with occasional out-of-hours support.
