Are you passionate about supporting your local community? We have a fantastic opportunity for a SEND Transport Driver to join our Healthcare transportation team based in Sussex.
We have expanded our community service support and created a new division within our already established patient transport business and we are delivering care in the community by transporting Special Educational and Disability Needs (SEND) transport for children to and from healthcare facilities; ie schools and other learning hubs to repatriation and travel to specialist education centres.
Assist children with special educational needs during transport to ensure their safety and well-being.
Driving carefully and considerately to safely drive children to and from their place of education using our vehicles.
Support children in boarding and alighting from the vehicle, providing any necessary physical assistance.
Maintain a calm and positive environment during transport, addressing any behavioural or emotional needs that may arise.
Familiar with the safeguarding policies.
Part time (split shifts) and full time positions available
Example split shifts (these can vary depending on travel time) - 07:45-09:45 and 15:15-17:15
Monday - Friday, term time only
AM and/or PM shifts available

You will need a full UK driving licence with no more than three penalty points
Pass a DVLA D4 Medical.
Display a calm, considerate and careful driver behaviour.
An Enhanced DBS check is required for all successful candidates which is fully funded by EMED Group
