Job description
For the AIR Region we are looking for an IT Local Services Specialist.
The person in this function will be responsible for the First and Second line IT support for countries UK and Ireland.
* First line support of end-users in the AIR region, this trough phone and ServiceNow (ITSM profile)
* Provisioning and supporting end-user with installation, preparation, decommissioning of all IT equipment (Laptops, Desktops, Mobile devices,...)
* Support IT onboarding and offboarding process
* Second line support for more advanced issues regarding Nippon Gases Hardware, Equipment, Software and Applications
* Perform on-site visits to all locations in UK and Ireland to:
o Perform maintenance and operational actions
o Manage the WAN / Telecom connections
o Manage the local network, switches and access points
o Manage the local network racks, cabling and connectivity
o Keep the local locations ISO ready and up-to-date
o Keep an European alignment to assure all Nippon Gases IT standards are respected and followed.
* Support local business by initiating / capturing / following up new projects / enhancements / demand in full accordance with policies and the IT Local Services Manager Europe
* Function as local Focal Point for the AIR regions for the IT Local Services Manager Europe.
* The position will be integrated in the European Local Services Team and will also require regular alignment with the other teams in the other regions.
* Base location will be Immingham, UK
