Your Role

We are looking for a versatile and proactive Systems Administrator to join our dynamic Technology Operations team. Reporting to a senior member on the team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting and managing infrastructure and tools across multiple business units, while contributing to major transition and modernization initiatives.

This is a hybrid role blending systems administration, network and infrastructure. You’ll work closely within our Technology Operations team and gain exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps, AI, and cybersecurity. This is a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional growth in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment.

Location: This role will be based out of our offices in London/Leamington Spa. This is an on-site role with room for flexibility and will include travel to our teams in UK.

What You’ll Be Doing

End-User Support

* Provide advanced support for end-users via phone, email, chat, ticketing systems, and in person.
* Act as an escalation point for complex IT incidents and support requests.
* Provide occasional out-of-hours support for critical activities or urgent issues, including support for our Canadian team outside regular UK hours (rota or flexible arrangement available)


Systems & Device Management

* Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
* Support lifecycle management of devices: laptops (HP, Dell, Surface), MacBooks, iOS/Android devices, and peripherals.
* Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 services.
* Support IT projects such as hardware/software upgrades and installations.


Identity, Access & Security

* Implement and maintain identity and access management solutions, including SSO, Conditional Access, and SCIM integrations.
* Conduct vulnerability management, patching, and endpoint protection aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and Cyber Essentials Plus standards.


Infrastructure & Networking

* Lead or contribute to network design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance to enhance performance and reduce operational costs.


IT Transitions & Integrations

* Coordinate IT transition activities, such as endpoint migrations, SharePoint and data migrations, and service decommissioning.
* Improve and maintain integrations with enterprise tools (e.g., Jira, Netsuite, CRM systems, e-learning platforms).


Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Act as a point of contact between IT and finance for cost-related approvals and technology spend tracking.
* Collaborate with Finance and Sales teams to automate and streamline infrastructure processes.


What You’ll Bring

* Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting networking hardware and protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and routing/switching technologies.
* Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra, Exchange, Teams (including voice and conferencing), SharePoint, and related administrative tools.
* Experience providing technical support across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities.
* Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and the ability to apply them effectively across systems and infrastructure.
* Demonstrated passion for technology, with a strong generalist foundation and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and innovation, paired with a commitment to mentoring and supporting junior team members in their professional growth.
* Willingness to assist with physical office setups, relocations, and related logistical IT tasks.
* Valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
* Experience in hardware and software asset lifecycle management, including procurement, tracking, and disposal.


What makes you stand out:

* Experience supporting complex IT transitions or integrations.
* Familiarity with aviation or other safety-critical environments.
* Knowledge of pfSense, VMware and/or Proxmox, PostgreSQL.
* Experience implementing or managing service desk tools (e.g., Freshdesk, Zendesk).
* Interest or experience in automation and infrastructure-as-code approaches.
* Familiarity with supporting CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Gold-Vision), ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite), finance tools, and integration with 3rd party voice service providers.

The salary will be based on the value you will bring to the role with a range spanning from £38,000 to £48,000 GBP per year. The actual base pay offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and work location.
