Here at GXO, we're looking for a Warehouse Team Leaders to join our growing site in Selby, with a new contract to the site. Reporting to the Shift Manager, you'll lead, coach and support a team of colleagues to deliver safe, efficient and high quality warehouse performance.
This is a Full Time, Permanent role, with working hours of either 4 on 4 6am to 6pm (Days) or 6pm to 6am (Nights) - your preference of shift can be discussed at interview.

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Lead the operational shift team by encouraging a team ethic to achieve daily KPI targets.
* Manage and monitor an effective warehouse operation ensuring SOP compliance is adhered to with all functions.
* Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
* Make sure all discrepancies are reported through the appropriate channels & maintain KPI records.
* Coaching and feedback on individual performance & ensure staff are trained to carry out duties to the required level.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Experience leading teams in a warehouse or fast paced operational environment.
* Strong communication and people leadership skills.
* Good working knowledge of warehouse processes and Health & Safety standards.
* Excellent WMS systems knowledge & Stock experience would be an advantage.
* A hands on, proactive approach with strong organisational skills.
