Logistics & Technical Support Supervisor

Serco invites applications for a Logistics & Technical Support Supervisor to join the team at RNAS Culdrose. The role manages the delivery of Deployable Spares Packs (DSPs), oversees View & Verify activity for non‑IMOS store items, maintains Anti‑Deterioration Maintenance (ADM) of uninstalled assets including Role Equipment (RE), and handles related electronic data activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Technical Support PO with DSP asset data in GOLDesp/Data Integrity in W16.
* Ensure the Data Integrity of DSPs issued to receiving units complies with current and extant policy.
* Notify the AESAS Support Manager of all business risks.
* Raise Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and SMS 05 for deploying DSPs, highlighting issues to the receiving unit.
* Conduct ADM and equipment conditioning activity of items held within DSPs at RNAS Culdrose.
* Serve as the engineering point of contact for deployed DSPs.
* Perform ADM for non‑IMOS store items held within W16.
* Perform 6‑monthly ADM of uninstalled RE held within W16.
* Track, monitor and manage lifing data of RE held in W16.
* View, verify and coordinate equipment conditioning of unserviceable assets, including SCRAP items, ensuring correct application of SMR codes and identifying items requiring Special Category Work (SCW).
* Ensure tracked assets are updated or created in GOLDesp before being stocked.
* Adhere to local procedures as necessary.
* Monitor GOLDesp‑tracked assets associated with W16 segregation code.
* Isolate ADM and life‑expired assets and forward items to relevant repair facilities.
* Process all Culdrose‑embarked aviation asset returns, feeding assets into the correct repair chain and reconditioning as required.
* Condition W16 air stores including RE and DSP stocks (S, R2, R3/4, Scraps) inside and outside source trade.
* Report quality issues for assets that fail to meet required standards, including returned Serviceable or Unserviceable, R2 and R3/4 items from vendors or 1st/2nd Line Maintenance units.
* Manage W16 rejections.
* Assist W16 in tracking missing high‑value assets using GOLDesp, within the bounds of W16 and GOLDesp access limits.
* Carry out all contracted tasks timely and in accordance with Customer Policy, Regulations and statutory regulations.
* Report all verbal and written customer complaints and quality issues to the AESAS Support Manager.
* Inform the AESAS Support Manager when regulatory, induction, human factors, promotion, on‑job or new equipment training is required for employees.
* Ensure all employees under their control comply with:
o Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
o Serco Management System.
o Applicable Customer Policy and Regulations.
o Company and Customer Environmental procedures.
o Company Equal Opportunities Policy.
* Attend additional training courses as required by the AESAS Support Manager.
* Utilise DASOR, Assure and other reporting media to capture and communicate findings and actions from engineering, safety and near‑miss events.
* Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and associated programmes when required.
* Remain flexible and carry out any other tasks within their capabilities and experience in support of the contract as directed by the Contract Director or representative.
* Promote Serco’s professional company image in all liaisons with internal and external agencies.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in a military/industry airworthiness environment.
* Meet the requirements of RA4806 for award of MAM‑P authorisations as required.
* Write‑access to JAMES, GOLDesp, MJDI and CIETP electronic systems.
* Training to conduct servicing on ASE/GSE/HUSLE equipment.
* Certified Risk Assessor.
* Completion of all mandatory MoD, NCHQ and local training courses in line with policy for civilian contract personnel at RNAS Culdrose MMO.
* Good working knowledge of:
o Health and Safety, COSHH regulations, Tool Control and Quality practices.
o Engineering and Asset Management Systems.
* Completed a Maintenance Human Factors Course.
* Good people‑management experience.
* Ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining operational output.
