The role is full time, 5 days per week, and due to start in September 2026 and is ongoing. Position Details: Job Title: SEND HLTA Location: Nelson, Lancashire Start Date: September 2026 - Ongoing Contract Type: Full-time, 5 days per week Daily Rate: £95 – £105 per day (dependant on experience) About the Role: * Plan and implement learning activities for individuals and groups under the general supervision and direction of the teacher. * Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher and establish supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents and carers. * Provide short term cover for classes to which the Teaching Assistant is normally assigned, when the class teacher is unexpectedly unavailable. * May be required to undertake intimate/personal care duties, moving and handling, and supporting children with medical conditions and complex needs. * Assist the delivery of educational and developmental work programmes. * Support the use of ICT in learning activities.
