Job Description:
Full time, 40 hrs p/w live out nanny for happy, healthy, baby boy 5 months. Starting by 1st September, for long term. Mum is returning to work 1st Sept.
This is a kind, warm and friendly family. One of our nannies has been working for them on a part-time basis and highly recommends them as fabulous and kind employers.
Looking for an experienced nanny with years of experience caring for babies.
Family lives in Long Ditton, Surrey. Must be able to drive and have own car, to get to baby groups, playgrounds etc. Nanny will be compensated for mileage and depreciation. Must be a safe and confident driver.
Pay rate depends on the nanny’s experience and qualifications, but indication £20-£23 gph for 40 hrs per week.
A nanny who really adores children and is loving, caring and warm. Someone who can help him achieve his milestones and is happy to keep parents informed (both parents work) about his activities during the day (nanny diary and photos).
They like a good communicator, so they can discuss plans, schedules, baby’s progress etc. all easily. Nanny should have experience with weaning and potty training.
The family has a well-behaved dog. The dog has its own dog-walker. In future, if nanny likes dogs she could maybe take out baby in the stroller with dog – possibly.
While baby sleeps they would be very happy if nanny could do meal prep, tidy the areas, make sure his clothes and bedding are washed etc. Filling/emptying the dishwasher would be appreciated, but is always secondary to the nanny work.
The family has employed one of our nannies in a part-time capacity. Both sides liked each other very much. This is the first time they will employ a full-time (40 hrs pw) nanny, as mum is now returning to work.
They would like to do trials in July or the 2nd half of Aug (they are away first 2 weeks of Aug).
* Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging, and educational activities (crafts, games, reading, messy play).
* Organise day outings (farm visits, softplay, play dates, music groups).
* Knowledge of child nutrition and ability to prepare healthy meals. Specifically: plan meals/snacks and prepare his food.
* Household tasks such as baby's laundry, sterilising bottles, filling/emptying the dishwasher, cleaning up the breakfast table, help keeping the kitchen clean and organised, tidying up play areas, organising C’s clothes and toys.
* Ability to provide regular updates to parents. Collaborate closely on C’s development: share observations, suggest activities, discuss milestones, establish/maintain routines, and have regular chats to map out meals and outings.
