Your Role as a Construction Teacher in Harrow Deliver hands-on lessons in construction skills such as carpentry, plumbing, and basic brickwork tailored to students aged 11-16. Collaborate closely with SENCOs, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive, trauma-informed classroom culture. Use a positive behavioural approach to build trust and encourage self-confidence in students. What We're Looking for in a Construction Teacher Practical experience in construction or a related trade (e.g. joinery, electrics, general building). Experience working with young people, preferably in an SEN or education setting. A good understanding of SEN needs including Autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
