Project Administrator | Permanent | Watton | Up to £29,000

Position 1 Recruitment is working with a well‑established engineering and manufacturing company to hire a Project Administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, supporting projects and engaging with stakeholders.


Working Hours & Location

* Hybrid work: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home (after probation)
* Monday‑Thursday: 08:30 – 17:30
* Friday: 08:30 – 13:30 (early finish)


Project Administrator – Key Responsibilities

* Compile and manage project and technical documentation for client submissions.
* Drive timely documentation flow across departments to meet project deadlines.
* Identify and raise project risks, maintaining and updating the risk register.
* Support end‑to‑end project coordination to ensure on‑time delivery.
* Track and follow up on documentation approvals to prevent delays.
* Assist with procurement processes, including work orders and BOM updates.
* Monitor critical project documentation and proactively flag risks to Project Managers.
* Act as a communication link between project teams and stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate project data in AX and CRM systems, including delivery timeline.


You will need

* Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
* Confident communicator, able to liaise with internal teams, clients and expeditors.
* Experience supporting projects in a fast‑paced or technical environment.
* Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., AX, CRM) is advantageous.
