Responsibilities
* Undertake site survey and analysis in the field, seeking and using innovative processes to deliver successful outcomes.
* Produce and/or oversee the production of reports, drawings and other technical documentation using appropriate software, with the necessary level of detail as required at various stages of development from strategies to mitigation design.
* Communicate clearly, including the ability to author concise technical reports and to contribute to conference calls, meetings, and workshops.
* Provide technical ability, knowledge, and competence to guide, teach, develop and manage junior staff, including as a Chartership mentor.
* Work collaboratively and iteratively with other technical disciplines within a multi-disciplinary design team to enhance project delivery.
* Assist leads to undertake project management responsibilities, including financial and programme management.
* Be aware of and understand the AECOM procedures, their importance, and their application to projects.
Qualifications
* Technically competent in preparing LVIAs and TVIAs and evidence-base documents in accordance with best practice.
* Knowledge and understanding of the UK planning system with respect to landscape architecture.
* An understanding of project management, including financial control and reporting and programme management.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Competent in the use of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud software (preferred).
* Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civils 3D, Revit, LSS or ProjectWise.
* Landscape Institute accredited Bachelor’s degree, Diploma and/or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
* Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
* UK driving licence for remote site visits.
