Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will support people to live safely, independently, and comfortably in their own homes. You will provide care that is respectful, personal, and meaningful.
Responsibilities
* Personal care delivered with dignity and respect
* Mobility support
* Meal preparation
* Medication assistance
* Light housekeeping
* Companionship and emotional support
* Transporting clients to appointments and social activities
* Accurate care documentation and reporting
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for people with the right values and attitude. Naturally caring, patient and compassionate. Friendly, reliable and able to work independently.
* Female applicants only (role requirement)
* Full UK driving licence essential
* Right to work in the UK
* Willing to complete background checks
* Enhanced DBS (within 6 months or on the update service) preferred
* Experience in care is welcome but not essential
* Full training will be provided
* Hours: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent (Flexible shifts available)
Employment Conditions
This is a female-only role due to personal care needs and preferences of our female clients, in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
Compensation & Benefits
* Pay: £14.00–£15.00 per hour (depending on experience/qualifications)
* Weekend enhancements and £5.00 travel time per hour
* £0.32 per mile paid mileage
