Position: Mailroom Operative
Contract Type: Temporary 4 weeks
Location: BA Waterside, Heathrow UB7 0GA
Working Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £13 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
As a Mailroom Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient mail and package management. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Delivering inward courier items and post promptly.
Tracking internal and external packages/post using company tracking software.
Moving boxes and crates safely and efficiently.
Booking outgoing couriers to ensure timely despatch.
Processing outgoing mail to support daily operations.
Answering telephone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Logging incoming items into the Mailtrack system to maintain accurate records.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
Previous experience in a similar role or general clerical support is desirable.
Strong IT literacy to navigate company tracking systems with ease.
Excellent customer service skills to engage with team members and clients effectively.
A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
