Health and Safety Lead - Sizewell C - Suffolk Site based

We have an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the UK's energy future. As part of the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), we’re supporting the construction of Sizewell C, a state‑of‑the‑art nuclear power station that will provide low‑carbon electricity to around 6 million homes for at least 60 years.

What will you be doing?
* Communicating and implementing the HSW strategy.
* Building solid relationships with stakeholders and delivering on customer strategic and tactical requirements.
* Leading and managing the HSW team, including supporting the Performance Development Review (PDR) process.
* Undertaking Health and Safety compliance evaluations, tours, and audits.
* Identifying and ranking risk associated with CWA work activities.
* Preparing fact‑driven reports following inspections, tours, audits, and investigations.
* Supporting the implementation of and ensuring compliance with the Sizewell C (SZC) project standards and the CWA Safety Management System (SMS).
What do you need to succeed?
* Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
* Detailed, technical knowledge and experience in Health and Safety legislation, regulations, and guidance.
* Experience of working on Major Infrastructure Projects.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (or working towards).
* NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
