We are seeking dedicated and passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for managing daily activities, fostering positive relationships with children, and ensuring their developmental needs are met.
This role is 40 hours per week, all year round, however 30 hours Part time may be considered for the right candidate.
Duties
* Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery setting.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play.
* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development accurately.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
* Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and welcoming at all times.
* Drive initiatives that encourage children's social skills, emotional development, and independence.
* Exhibit leadership qualities by guiding junior staff and supporting their professional growth.
Experience
* A Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
* Experience in leading small groups of children or mentoring staff would be advantageous.
