About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager with a proven track record in multi-utility infrastructure and strong relationships within the residential development and housebuilding sector. This role is pivotal in driving growth by securing new projects and building long-term partnerships with developers.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and secure new business opportunities with residential developers and housebuilders across the South.
* Promote multi-utility solutions (electricity, gas, water) and ICP services to key decision-makers.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure repeat business.
* Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring commercial terms align with company objectives.
* Collaborate with internal teams (design, operations, delivery) to ensure seamless project handover and client satisfaction.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic growth plans.
* Represent the company at industry events, networking to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience in business development within utilities, infrastructure, or construction.
* Essential: Experience in ICP sales and working directly with residential developers and housebuilders.
* Strong understanding of multi-utility connections and regulatory compliance.
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and deal-closing skills.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to develop tailored solutions for clients.
* Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable with regional travel.
