Vacancy – Sheet Metal Worker
ESS Employment are working with our client to source a permanent Sheet Metal Worker. We are looking for a candidate with an understanding of engineering drawings and experience within a fine sheet metal work or fabrication environment. We have a varied product range and we pride ourselves on manufacturing and delivering a high quality product.
Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain sheet metal fabrication tools and equipment.
* Perform welding tasks to assemble metal components accurately.
* Utilise hand tools and machinery for grinding and shaping metal parts.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise fabrication.
* Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet industry standards.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency.
Requirements
* Spot-welding of sheet metal parts.
* Rolling of sheet metal parts.
* Tapping and countersinking of sheet metal parts.
* Have previous experience working in a sheet metal environment.
* Able to read engineering drawings.
