The Role
As a Technical Account Manager, you’ll be the link between clients’ business goals and the technology that helps them reach them. It’s a mix of account management, technical advice, and strategic planning – all centred on helping clients get the most from their IT.
What You’ll Be Doing
Client Relationships Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and act as their main point of contact for anything IT-related.
Technical Advice Provide clear, practical guidance on IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud services, including Microsoft 365, Cyber Essentials, and ISO 27001.
Quarterly Reviews Lead quarterly business reviews to assess performance, highlight improvements, and create future technology plans.
Customer Success Spot opportunities to improve how clients work, recommending services and solutions that add real value.
Proposals and Projects Work with engineers to scope out projects, prepare proposals, and help clients understand how proposed solutions will meet their goals.
Supporting New Business Collaborate with the Business Development team to review potential clients’ systems and suggest improvements.
What We’re Looking For
* 4–5 years’ experience in account management or technical consultancy, ideally in an MSP or IT services company
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and business continuity
* Great communication skills and the confidence to work with managers, directors, and CEOs
* The ability to turn technical information into clear business value
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
* Full UK driving licence
Location and Flexibility
This role is based at the Frome office, with the option to work from home up to two days per week after a successful three-month probation.
Company Car or Allowance
You can choose between an all-electric company car (with low tax benefits) or a £350 monthly car allowance if you prefer to use your own vehicle. Business mileage is minimal, but costs can be reimbursed where needed.
Working Hours
Standard hours are 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with some flexibility depending on your schedule.
