With 82 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a destination restaurant, café/bar, and exclusive private dining rooms, The Bedford Hotel Belfast will set new standards for hospitality in Northern Ireland. Role Responsibilities As Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of all pastry, bakery, and dessert items to a consistently high standard. You will bring creativity and technical expertise to the kitchen, working alongside the Head Chef to design and deliver desserts that enhance our guests’ dining experience. Key Requirements Prepare, bake, and present all pastry and dessert items to the highest standard. Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to design and update dessert menus in line with seasonal trends. Ensure consistent portion control, presentation, and quality in every dish. Manage stock levels and ensure proper storage, rotation, and usage of ingredients. Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organisation within the pastry section, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations. Support training and development of junior kitchen team members. Contribute to the overall success of the kitchen operation by maintaining cost controls and minimising wastage. Ensure all allergen, COSHH, and HACCP procedures are followed. Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly to management.
