Material Planner – Leeds
Our client is looking for an experienced Material Planner to manage end‑to‑end inventory and production planning within our Electrification – Smart Buildings division.
Key Responsibilities of the Material Planner
* Manage vendor portfolio and full supply chain/inventory lifecycle
* Maintain inventory parameters within the ERP system
* Work closely with Buyers, Operations, and internal teams to support material availability
* Analyse inventory performance, identify excess/obsolete stock, and drive improvements
* Produce weekly/monthly planning and inventory reports
* Create production schedules, release work orders, and run daily plant‑level MRP
About You
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing planning, MRP, production scheduling, and inventory control
* Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP desirable)
* Skilled in Excel
* Excellent communication, analytical ability, and attention to detail
* Proven track record of improving processes
