Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off - rotating shifts2 Days: 7:00am 7:00pm2 Nights: 7:00pm 7:00amBreaks: 4 x 30-minute breaks per 12-hour shiftThe OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Line Leader to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment (Bakery).This role is responsible for driving operational improvement across the production plant, working closely with Engineering, Technical, and Hygiene teams to identify opportunities, improve efficiencies, and support overall plant performance.The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational standards, communicating improvements effectively across teams, and ensuring production targets, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of Manufacturing, Despatch, and Hygiene KPIs including productivity, efficiency, quality, and output targetsWork closely with Engineering teams to identify plant inefficiencies and prioritise improvement activitiesCommunicate planned maintenance shutdowns clearly to operators and ensure responsibilities are understoodProvide regular updates on maintenance progress and operational improvementsCreate and maintain weekly communication forums through team briefings and visual displaysMonitor and communicate key operational metrics including OEE, waste, downtime, ownership, and accountabilityMaintain and review risk assessments and work instructions across production areas, including slicing operationsEnsure Team Leaders continuously review and update risk assessments where requiredPromote a strong health & safety culture across the operationSupport continuous improvement initiatives and operational best practicesWhat Were Looking ForEssential:Proven track record of delivering against operational targets and KPIsMinimum 2 years line management experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong organisational and decision-making skillsExperience allocating workloads and managing operational resources effectivelyAbility to analyse data and make performance-driven decisionsExcellent communication and leadership skillsExperience implementing change and driving team engagementProficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookDesirable:Experience within Food Manufacturing or FMCG environmentsSAP knowledge and understanding of financial controls and operational dataIOSHH qualificationHACCP Level 2 or aboveGood understanding of food hygiene standards, health & safety legislation, audits, and compliance processesWhats On OfferPermanent full-time opportunityCompetitive salary packageStructured rotating shift pattern with regular time offOpportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentCareer development and progression opportunitiesInvolvement in continuous improvement and operational excellence projectsTo apply, please submit your CV and we will get in contact.TPBN1_UKTJ
