We are Ofwat, the Water Services Regulation Authority, a non-ministerial government department responsible for regulating the water sector in England and Wales. We have an opportunity for a Marketing Lead to join our Marketing Team within the Office of the Chief Executive Directorate. The water sector is evolving, and this is a unique moment to join us and help shape the future of water.
Location: Birmingham, London. Closing Date: 16/11/2025.
Responsibilities
* Lead the day-to-day delivery of the inaugural Water Efficiency Campaign (WEC) in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
* Manage a Delivery Body – Ofwat’s end-to-end delivery partner for the WEC – combining marketing expertise, consumer insight, and project management.
* Coordinate a multi-disciplinary team covering creative, content development, branding, channel planning, digital, social, media buying, partnership marketing, multicultural expertise, PR, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.
* Adopt a strategic, rigorous, insight- and evidence-led approach to the development, delivery, and evaluation of the WEC marketing programme.
* Collaborate with colleagues across Media, Digital, Strategic Communications, Stakeholder Engagement, Internal Engagement and Political Engagement to deliver outcomes.
* Demonstrate experience across strategic development, research, multi-channel implementation, stakeholder engagement, and evaluation.
* Contribute to a high-profile initiative and support transformational change within the organisation.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Highly experienced marketing professional with significant behaviour-change experience.
* Experience across strategic development, research, multi-channel implementation, stakeholder engagement and evaluation.
* Ability to work with senior stakeholders and to lead cross-functional delivery.
* Willingness to work in a flexible, hybrid environment.
