Welsh-Speaking 1:1 Teaching AssistantLocation: Pontypridd Contract: Full-time Start Date: September 2026We are looking to appoint a dedicated and caring Welsh-speaking 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in a friendly and inclusive school in Pontypridd .The RoleProvide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs (ALN)Support learning, communication, and emotional wellbeing through the medium of WelshWork closely with the class teacher, ALNCo, and support staffFollow and contribute to individual support plansEncourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviourThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveThe ability to communicate confidently in Welish (essential)Experience working with children, ideally in a 1:1 or ALN support roleA patient, nurturing, and flexible approachGood teamwork and communication skillsAn understanding of ALN such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs (desirable but not essential)We OfferA supportive and welcoming school environmentOpportunities for training and professional developmentThe chance to make a meaningful difference to a child's educationCompetitive pay in line with experienceTPBN1_UKTJ
