The successful postholder will provide a comprehensive and flexible administrative service across a range of Council departments, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational support are delivered at all times. Key Responsibilities Deliver high quality administrative and secretarial support to multiple Council Officers and teams. Act as a first point of contact for internal and external queries, ensuring excellent customer service. Process and record applications, financial transactions, and correspondence in line with approved procedures. Support meetings including preparation of agendas, minute-taking, and follow-up actions. Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems in compliance with data protection requirements. Assist in the organisation of departmental projects and events as required. The Ideal Candidate Proven administrative experience within a busy office environment, ideally within the public sector. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
