As the Intake Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the intake of raw materials, ensuring they are received, inspected, and stored in compliance with our quality and safety standards. Your role will be pivotal in managing a team of intake operatives, implementing best practices, and continuously improving process efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor the intake team, ensuring all members are engaged and working efficiently.
* Oversee the receipt and inspection of raw materials, ensuring they meet quality specifications.
* Implement and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for intake operations.
* Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
* Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage to maintain product integrity.
* Conduct regular training sessions for team members on quality control and safety practices.
* Prepare and maintain documentation for traceability and compliance purposes.
* Review performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities within the intake process.
Working hours:
Saturday & Sunday 06:30-19:00
£14,26/hour
Requirements
* Proven experience in a leadership role within an intake or warehouse environment, preferably in the food industry.
* Strong knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory compliance.
* Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage various priorities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
* Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including the possibility of weekends during peak times.
