We’re looking for compassionate and caring Nursing Assistants with a passion to be a key part of the patient care journey here at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). The service runs 7 days a week, between 17:00 and 22:00, including bank holidays, Christmas and New Year.
Key Responsibilities
* Communicate in a sensitive and compassionate manner with patients, relatives, and other members of the multi‑disciplinary team.
* Assist in delivering excellent patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses, following Trust guidelines and protocols.
* Support patients with personal care needs, including traveling to patients’ homes from various locations.
* Participate in job training & assessment to undertake a range of delegated duties as required.
Required Skills and Experience
* Car owner/user essential.
* Previous community experience preferred; training will be available.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
