Extension Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a growing and people‑focused organisation in Gateshead as they look to appoint a Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, proactive individual who enjoys managing multiple projects and working closely with clients in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will oversee projects from handover through to completion, ensuring they run smoothly, safely and within agreed timescales and budgets. You will work closely with an experienced team who are committed to delivering excellent results. This is a fast‑paced, dynamic and supportive environment where your contribution will be recognised and valued.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage structured project plans
* Prioritise tasks and manage timelines across multiple projects
* Build strong, positive relationships with clients and internal teams
* Coordinate project information, documentation and reporting
* Monitor budgets, identify risks and support problem‑solving
* Prepare key project documents and assist with financial processes
* Complete project reviews, site visits and quality checks
Skills & Experience
* Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Excellent planning, organisation and time management
* Confident communicator with strong client‑handling skills
* Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
* Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
